Locally owned and operated - Kenosha Proud
Blacktop Barbershop is a mobile barbering innovation created by Mitchell Thomas, born and raised in Kenosha. As a kid, he enjoyed youth sports - CYC basketball, Little League baseball, RecPlex football, and more. After throwing out his shoulder playing college baseball, he returned to Kenosha to pursue his passion in the barbering profession.
Mitchell is committed to church and family. His large, local family includes Grandpa Tom (taking the picture). :)
A mobile barbershop has been Mitchell's goal for years and then the COVID pandemic hit and it made even more sense - a private, sterilized setting.
